Complete the following items on separate sheets of paper.

I. Statement of Purpose

Please compose an essay (approximately two pages) describing why you are interested, specifically, in the KBMML internship, what you hope to gain from participation in this internship, and what you believe you could contribute to KBMML as an intern. Demonstrate your familiarity with the type of research we do at KBMML. A list of KBMML publications can be found here, these articles can be found in most college libraries. Finally, indicate what has motivated your interest in dolphins and what you see yourself doing professionally in the future.

II. Describe your experience/accomplishments in the following areas. List these items on a separate sheet of paper or submit a resume that includes this information.

Education: Colleges and universities attended, dates of attendance, current student status (full- time, part-time, graduate, other), relevant coursework, and overall GPA.

Academic Honors or Awards

Research Experience, Employment and Volunteer Positions: List and briefly describe relevant employment and volunteer experience.

Extra-curricular Activities: Clubs, sports, civic organizations, etc.

III. Submit official copies of your college transcript(s) and three letters of recommendation, preferably from your college professors.
